What is God?
What is God?
There can be many different definitions of God. (God) being infinite and beyond the physical world of consciousness, it is difficult to express the meaning of the word Ishwar/ God in a few words or sentences.
Comparably appropriate definitions may be as follows:
Ishwar/ God Satchidananda – Existent, Intelligent and Blissful.
God is formless
God is almighty
God is omniscient
God is the righteous
God is kind
God is birthless or unborn
God is eternal
God is immutable
God is self-born
God is incomparable
God is the holder of everything - the possessor of everything
God is the lord of all
God is omnipresent
God is omniscient
God is age less
God is immortal
God is fearless
God is perpetual
God is consecrate
God is the creator
But in the next part. From what I started with, it is enough to understand that God is the director of the universe (both internal and external).
It can be a signal through an orderly process of evaluating life and the world. And one day we will be able to start the process of analysis, the rest of God's attributes will become clear automatically.
Let us see what the Rigveda says about this Supreme Being:
anat ǀ śaye ǀ tura-gātu ǀ jīvam ǀ ejat ǀ dhruvam ǀ madhye ǀ ā ǀ pastyānām ǀ
jīvaḥ ǀ mṛtasya ǀ carati ǀ svadhābhiḥ ǀ amartyaḥ ǀ martyena ǀ sa-yoniḥ ǁ
Rigveda 1/164/30
The One Supreme Being who is selfless, controls the entire universe, is omnipresent and is the Lord of the gods, is the only source of bliss. Those who do not realize him are mired in sorrow and those who do realize him chase unconditional joy.
